Smidge®’s yeast-based probiotics stars the beneficial yeast strain, Saccharomyces boulardii. This probiotic is used to help avoid common side effects of antibiotics, like diarrhoea, fatigue and brain fog.* People with Clostridium difficile (C. diff) and candida also use saccharomyces probiotics as guided by a practitioner.*
Smidge® Yeastbiotic is pure and simple.
Small batch. Dairy and gluten-free.
And free of common allergens.
Each capsule contains pure S. boulardii, which is well-known for balancing candida issues. (Some supplement manufacturers substitute brewer's or baker's yeast for S. boulardii. Not Smidge®!)
This saccharomyces boulardii probiotic supplement can be taken with antibiotics (as guided by a healthcare provider), as it may not compromise the potency or effectiveness of the antibiotics.* So both can do their crucial jobs.*
If no antibiotics are being taken, Smidge® Yeastbiotic can also nourish your digestive system. Smidge®’s customers tell them that they often take it while following natural interventions, such as special diets for candida or other mild fungal overgrowths.*

Always start with a smidge! Take 1 capsule daily (See "low and slow" note below), or as directed by a certified healthcare practitioner. May be taken before, during or immediately following a course of antibiotics under the advice of a doctor.*
Warning: Not recommended for severely immunocompromised individuals or those with central venous catheters.
Start low and slow: Smidge® supplements are premium, pure and potent. Therefore, it's critically important to start slowly, with a lower dosage than recommended. For example, a minimal dose every other day, or even once a week, until it is determined how the supplement affects the body and what personal preference is.
How to take: This saccharomyces probiotic can be taken along with antibiotics, as guided by a healthcare practitioner. Smidge® recommend taking it a couple of hours apart from the antibiotic dose. If the round of antibiotics is finished and support is needed, an individual can follow-up with Yeastbiotic. This supplement is most effective when taken in two to three-week increments, followed by a break of one to two weeks. Additionally and equally as important, abstaining from sugary foods that feed pathogenic yeast increases its efficacy (customers often consume ancestral diets such as SCD or paleo), which include essential fatty acids.
Saccharomyces boulardii.
Other ingredients: Microcrystalline cellulose (base for encapsulation), vegetarian capsule.
