Description

Healthy digestion is essential to the body's absorption and utilization of food. The process of digestion is accomplished in the GI tract using secretions from accessory glands such as the liver and the pancreas. 

Herbal bitters have been used in many cultures to promote digestion and appetite. One of their mechanisms of action is to stimulate bitter receptors in the mouth and GI tract to increase saliva, bile, and other digestive secretions. Dr. Shade’s Bitters No. 9 is a proprietary herbal blend that complements any meal. 

While bile is an extremely important digestive substance, good bile flow is also essential for detoxification. This liposomal bitters blend is specially formulated to promote healthy gall bladder/bile flow and robust liver function.

Liquid Extracts of dandelion (aerial parts), milk thistle (aerial parts), gentian root, burdock root, and solidago gigantea (aerial parts). Essential oils of sweet orange, myrrh, juniper and clove.

 

Other ingredients: glycerin, water, ethanol, vitamin E (as d-alpha tocopherol polyethylene glycol 1000 succinate), purified soy lecithins, acacia gum, natural mixed tocopherols

 
Dosage and use
  • Use 1-2 pumps 3 times daily.
  • Alternatively, use 2-4 pumps in sparkling water during and after meals and as needed for digestive comfort.
  • Best taken on an empty stomach at least 10 minutes before meals.
  • Store at room temperature.
  • Use within 60 days of opening.
