Suggested Use
Use half a scoop (0.4 g) per 0.8–1.9 L (2–4 quarts) of milk held at 38–40 °C (100–104 °F). Stir thoroughly and incubate in a yogurt maker or thermos at that temperature for 9–24 hours, depending on desired tartness and thickness. After fermentation, refrigerate the yogurt for at least 5 hours before consuming. Store remaining starter tightly sealed in freezer or refrigerator.
