The red clover , which is also known as the meadow clover , grows as well as in all regions of the world. It is also known as an ancient herbal remedy in many countries. The clover contains many vitamins (vitamins B1, B3 and vitamin C) and minerals such as magnesium, potassium and calcium. In addition, red clover also has a high proportion of isoflavones. Isoflavones are secondary plant substances that act as phytoestrogens in the body. They are extremely similar to the female hormone estrogen.
